There was still snow on the ground but it didn’t deter people who came to see the 40th anniversary show of the Chinook Creative Arts Foundation. They were treated to a beautiful display of arts and crafts — quilts and teddy bears, paintings and stained glass, jewelry, bronzes, wood turning, photography, field stone flowers and elk antler wall hangings and more. Students from Cremona High School also displayed photos and artwork.
I was surprised at the large number of people who came to see the show, from seniors to babes in arms. And the crowds kept coming all day. Great to see such support for rural artists and artisans.
