I’ve never met a thrift store or a yard sale I didn’t like. That’s where I often discover the dregs of the jewelry world — broken chain, a discarded earring, scratched pearls, grungy beads — what a treasure trove!
With cleaning and some repair work they become truly one-of-a-kind pieces.
Many things produced today don’t seem to be designed to last. By comparison it’s a pleasure to work with these older or vintage pieces because of the quality of their workmanship.
Much of my work is one-of-a-kind. If you’re interested in one of the sold items, I may be able to create a similar design but often the components were also one-of-a-kind.
